Hello
my dear friends,,,
This
semester is really fantastic for me as I meet new friends whom I am going to
share with. During this semester, I have already prepared a course outline in
which it is intended to give you a glimpse description of our lecture and also
our estimated date of the meeting. The course outline is based on some references and if it is possible, try
to find some. Please take a look at on the course outline before we go further.
II Gianyar Course Outline
To start our discussion, I’d like to share you kinds of
clauses in which it is expected that you can identify and make your own
independent and dependent clause. Please click this material so that you’ll
have much better understanding in line with kinds of clauses especially independent
and dependent clause.
To extend further your ability, in this meeting we
will go further on how to connect the clauses to form a grammatical, logical
sentence. This sub material is another important element of writing since it
will enable you to combine different kinds of clauses by using different kinds
of clause connectors. In order to make a ‘hot’ discussion, please click this link.
The act of punctuating the idea that we want to
express in written form, punctuation, is really important in writing as it will
give our reader a better understanding to catch the message that we intend to
convey. Punctuation is not such difficult to be understood, for we only need to
know how to write in standard punctuation. Please download this material.
Why is your paragraph uninteresting? What makes it
monotonous? The answers to these questions might be, as simply we said, the
variety of our sentences. The result of your pre-test obviously confirmed that
you are unconsciously dominated by the use of simple sentences. Hence, to avoid
it, we will discuss kinds of sentences based on the type and number of clause/s
used in the sentence. It is expected that it will provide you with enough room
to express your ideas in different kinds of sentences. Please click it.
We have already discussed some features which are
necessary to compose a good paragraph. We have already shared about kinds of
clauses, clause connectors, punctuation and kinds of sentences. These features
are expected to provide you much more writing aspects so that you can write a
much better paragraph than the previous pre-test paragraph. However,
understanding these features will not enough if you want to write a good
paragraph. Therefore, in this meeting will discuss further on how to write a
good paragraph. For the sake of giving you an initial understanding, please download the material.
In the previous meeting, we have already discussed
about the necessary characteristics of a good paragraph. We however have not yet
discussed about how to organize the ideas into a unified and coherent
paragraph. Consequently, in this meeting, we will discuss about one of the ways
of organizing the ideas into a paragraph, logical division of ideas. Please find the attached material.
Comparison/Contrast paragraph is another way of organizing
the ideas. I do hope that after reading this material, you’ll have much more
various ways of organizing your ideas. To give you a short discussion, please download the material so that we
can discuss further on the material. Keep on Rockin’
