Paragraph

After discussing some preceding sub material, I do hope that all of you have already mastered them so that you will be able to improve your writing much better than your previous pre-test paragraph. This material will provide you further information about how to write a good paragraph. Since writing is a skill, the only way to improve it is practicing. Kinds of Sentences

Why is your paragraph uninteresting? What makes it monotonous? The answers to these questions might be, as simply we said, our sentences. The result of your pre-test obviously confirmed that you are unconsciously dominated by the use of simple sentences. Hence, to avoid that kind of writing, we will discuss kinds of sentences based on the type and number of clause/s used in the sentence. Punctuation

The act of punctuating the idea that we want to express in written form, punctuation, is really important in writing as it will give our reader a better understanding to catch the message that we intend to convey. Last meeting we studied kinds of clauses. This meeting we will go further on how to connect the clauses to form a grammatical, logical sentence.
